Sr. Software Developer (2 Openings) in Las Vegas, NV:
Analyze software requirements, design, develop, test, implement and troubleshoot full stack applications including Java based applications in cloud environment. Perform technical and functional analysis of problem and provide professional solutions on system and coding issues. Design complex database and write scripts to create and modify database objects. Conduct code review written by junior software developers.
Req: Master's degree or equiv. in Computer Science, Information Systems Technology or related field. Strong skills in programming, debugging and troubleshooting software applications; proficiency with Java, JavaScript, JUnit, SQL, AWS, Postmen, Jira, HTML5/CSS, JSON and in-depth knowledge of complex web systems, APIs, microservices architecture and data structures.

Basic

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• 5-8 years of IT experience in software development in developing web applications.
• 4 -7 years of strong JAVA/ J2EE, Spring MVC and RESTful webservice experience.

Preferred

• 4-7 years of experience with HTML5, Angular 2 with Typescript and above, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript experience.
• Strong technical skills including understanding of software development principles.

• Manage onboarding of new staff.
• Provide coaching, training and professional development to all staff.
• Oversee offboarding and exit interviews.
• Ensuring employees follow all policies and procedures.
• Researching compensation standards set by industry and governing bodies in order to create salary structures and administer employee benefits.

Preferred

• BA/BS required
• Human resources experience required.
• Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the annual budget cycle and monthly/quarter forecasts.
• Analyze financial results and communicate business insights to leadership.
• Serve as the trusted advisor to leadership. Assess risks and opportunities versus annual company targets. Evaluate forecast outputs to optimize future results.
• Participate in appropriate training to enable the adoption of new processes, tools, and models.

Requirement

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or a quantitative discipline.
• Proficiency with Office software and SQL.
• Experience with large data sets and exposure to BI tools such as EPM, Alteryx, PowerBI, Tableau, a plus.
